Legacy Projects

Starting as builders of single family homes in the 1950’s, from the company’s founding until his passing at the end of 2015, Sheldon S. Goldstein served as Chairman and President of The Lynmark Group and created the successful development model used by the company today. Shelly was widely recognized as one of the principal architects of the real estate boom in the downstate New York region in the 1960’s and over his 60 years at the helm of the company, Shelly developed, built, owned, and operated a substantial portfolio of residential and senior living communities, hospitality and commercial developments. These “Legacy Projects”, many of which are still owned and operated by the Goldstein family and their co-investors today, have enriched the lives of countless tenants, customers, and communities to which they serve.
